This dressing is tangy, creamy, and super flavorful. I love it on southwestern-style bowls and salads.
Avocado, Lime & Cilantro Dressing
Each Serving Contains:
- 1 Fat Serving
The only thing that is a counted category in this dressing is the avocado. The rest are freebies. This makes a very generous portion!
Ingredients
- 2 oz avocado
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 of a lime, juiced (or a whole lime, depending on your taste preference)
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped cilantro
- Pinch of salt
- Water to thin to desired consistency
Directions
- Blend everything in a small blender cup.
- Adjust the consistency with water until pourable.
- This dressing is best the same day, but it will keep for about 2 days in the fridge.
Great site Thanks for creating this for those of us new to BLE
You are so welcome Polly! Glad you are finding this site helpful to you on your BLE journey! <3
Would you ever consider selling meal plans, a week of BLE recipes along with the recipes and a grocery list. I’m new to BLE and the planning is still a challenge. I would totally take advantage of that.
I had some things like that that I shared at one point, but I had to remove them because I didn’t have a license to the BLE trademark and wasn’t allowed to distribute resources that used their name or food plan. BUT, I could provide something similar that is just called “sugar and flour free meal plan” or something more general. Good idea Nancy, I’ll think about that. 🙂
Thank you for this. I am confused about the portion after made. Is it 2 oz? Or all of it? It’s awful a lot if that’s the case.
Yep, all of it would equal one fat serving. So you could eat it all (yum) or use half of it and the other half for nuts or something.
