Yay!!!! The Katie’s Bright Kitchen Cookbook is finally HERE!!
I’m SO excited to share this with you, it’s been a work in progress for many months and I am so happy with how it turned out!!!
I created two versions of the physical book. Both are 8″ x 10″, but one is a lighter, soft-cover book (to keep the cost down) and the other is a more durable hard-bound book. The content is exactly the same. There is also an ebook available via Lulu.com. Please note this is a fixed layout pdf and not a flowable e-book, although is viewable on any device or e-reader. Take your pick! 🙂
All versions include:
- Over 100 Recipes
- Mostly Plant-Based (a few recipes contain eggs)
- No Sugar
- No Sweeteners
- No Flour
- Tips, Tricks, and On-The-Go Meal Ideas
- Recipes are broken down into food categories and specific amounts according to a typical female weight-loss food plan
- Maintenance modifications for each recipe
- Color images for every recipe
The layout and design of these books are all my own work. The book is self-published, hosted through blurb.com. That means that I upload a document to their site and they handle all the printing and shipping. Please note that it takes a couple of weeks from the time of ordering to the time of receiving the book in the mail.
A HUGE shout out to my mother Isabel Gates, who did some beautiful photography for me for some of the recipes, tirelessly edited multiple drafts, and provided the index. She is single handedly responsible for the polished quality of this book! Thank you mama! ❤

Katie’s Bright Kitchen is not a weight loss program and does not make any claims about health, nutrition, or weight-loss. These recipes are meant to support those ALREADY IN food addiction recovery programs. These recipes are NOT a substitute for these programs.
Please do not buy this cookbook thinking that if you only eat out of this cookbook you will have amazing weight loss and health results. Again, what makes people successful in these programs long term is the supportive experiences they have created. It’s not about recipes, it’s about changing your whole lifestyle, mindset, learning the science behind food addiction, and getting the support that is offered in recovery programs.
